Evan was born in 1984 to Andrea and Jason Treborn. His Mother raised him after his Dad got admitted into Sunnyville Institution due to him claiming that he could change the past by going into his memories. He had many traumatic experiences in his life, all of them having to do with his friends but most of all, Tommy.
[REDACTED] His Mom had also taken him to go see him Dad, who he has never met, and the conversation starts out good until he blacks out and the next thing he remembers is being choked by his Father and then watched him die right in front of him.
He also had some events happen to him when he was 13. [REDACTED] along with when his friend, Tommy, burned his Dog alive right in front of him only because he kissed his sister. After that event, him and his Mother moved out of town and he never got a single blackout again.
When he was 20 years old, he was in college when he decided that him and his buddy, Thumper, were going to to out and celebrate seven years of no blackouts. They go to the bar and play some pool where he picks up a woman and takes her back to his dorm room. she got into his journals that he would write in that would help him with his memory, something the doctor recommended when he was seven. She had him read him something and as he did, he jumped back to the memory, able to see it clearly as if he was actually there again then woke up.
When that happened, Evan started reading through all of his journals and was able to find that he could go back to every event where he had a blackout. Soon after, he started to change things so everything could be 'perfect' for everyone he cared about, his main focus being Kayleigh, Tommy's sister and the woman he loved.
[REDACTED] So, he went back to the memory, lecturing her Father to treat her better than he had been, causing him to do just that which takes him back to life where he is in college with her, not friends with Thumper and a Frat boy. He has made a lot of changes, those changes being able to affect the future drastically. Some of the things that have happened include him losing his arms and legs, his mother dying of lung cancer, Kayleigh being a Sorority girl to a Hooker. He has even landed in prison due to him killing Tommy out of self defense. The last one he did was when he tried to destroy the dynamite stick and lights it when Kayleigh's dad is filming the video and it blows up in Kayleigh's hand and ever since then, he was admitted into the same facility his Dad was in but has recently been transferred over to Eichen House because they do not know what more they can do for him and hope that they can help.

It seems that the journals he is talking about do not exist. He has asked for journals time and time again ever since being admitted to Sunnyville Institution when he was seven years old. He has talked about some delusions where he has gone back in time, changing the future, causing many outcomes from it. He has even talked about how, in some of these delusions, he has killed Tommy and even tried to kill himself.
